Cats are known to be particular by nature. These dignified creatures do not suffer fools easily. In ancient Egyptian times, they were worshiped as superior beings and they never let us forget it.
Nor should they.
Cats demand to be treated with respect even though they don’t often respect their human companions in return. Cat people know what I mean.
We, humans often want what we can’t have. It’s one of our biggest character flaws. Cats recognize this character flaw and have capitalized on it in so many ways.
Their aloofness draws us in and makes us want to win them over. We woo them with treats and buy them toys. We want our cats to return our love by making us their person.
Our methodology can have mixed results. Our feline companions show their love in different ways. But our behavior can also anger our feline friends.
